Big Boy!

Jaymin is getting to be such a big boy! Don't you just love his chunky legs. He loves to stand and thinks he's just hot stuff.

I think Miranda is finally warming up to Jaymin. She is starting to let him sit by her sometimes. Usually, Miranda just runs away. She will come up and sniff him and lick his face. Hopefully they will be great friends one day.

Jaymin's first Christmas

We had a really great Christmas this year. It's so much more fun when you have a child to share it with. Even though, he is still a baby. It's fun buying toys and getting presents for him. I'm sure that next year will be even better. We went down to Florida to spend Christmas with my side of the family. We went to Disney the first night we got there with my sister, brother-in-law, and nephew Hunter. It was a lot of fun and very cool to see all the Christmas lights. We went to the Mickey's Christmas Party which was from like 7pm-12pm. So the next day, we were spent. Luckily my mom watched Jaymin that night for us.

The rest of the time was spent just hanging out with our family. For some reason, you feel like you need a vacation when you come home. I guess, when you have a child, you don't really get to just hang out and rest. But, none the less, it was great to be with family. Jaymin got to put his little feet in the ocean. We stayed at a Condo across from the beach for about five days. So, it was nice to be able to walk over to the beach. Jaymin loves the water, but we're not quit sure he loved the ocean just yet because it was freezing cold!

Then we came back the day after Christmas and finally got home at like 2:30 in the morning. Horrible, horrible flight. Luckily, Jaymin slept the whole flight and all night. So, at least that was a good part of it. But, the horrible airline got his car seat all wet from letting it sit out in the rain, while they unloaded the rest of the plain. Ron is still trying to complain about that. But, for some reason, the Gene and Judes hot dogs helped a great deal that we ate on the way home. If you haven't tried them, try them!!! Then we hung out with Ron's family the next day and caught up with them and took our dog back. So, all in all, it was a very nice holiday season. Hope everybody has a great New Year, when we all start our diets!!!
