It's been way too long!

Well, I haven't had the internet at home for a while. So, today I'm at work on lunch right now. So, life has been crazy! Getting ready for Christmas. I decided that I hate going to Orland Mall and I don't think I ever want to go again. Ron will be happy about that. I can't get him to go shopping with me anyway. I usually have to trick him into going with me and then ever so, I can only make it through about one store and he's done. That's fine though. Gift giving is so over rated now anyways. Why can't it be like when we were little and everybody was happy with whatever they got! Well, gotta go for now. Becs

A day in the life of Miranda

This is my Miranda. Many of you already know her and her great potential! Yep, this is all she does every day. If you look at her picture long enough, she might move. I doubt it though. Hey Lisa, can you believe she fits in this chair? Don't you just love my Miranda! So, we got a lot of snow tonight. It took Ron about 4 hours to get home from working. Crazy, Crazy! Well, off to get some sleep...

Back Again

Well, so far it has been an interesting week. I came back from Florida late Monday night and then on Tuesday, started to teach a craft class for 2 5th grade girls and a drawing class for 6 other kids. I thought that I was going to be so nervous, but it turned out pretty good. They haven't figured out yet that I'm just a big nerd. No, but it was pretty fun. Here's a picture of our first craft. Last night in Florida

Well, this is my last night in Florida. It's been good. Ron asked me tonight if I was ready to come home. I said I'm ready to see you, but I don't think I'm ready to go home just yet. The weather is just starting to get good. I think today it was like maybe 80. So, I crammed as much stuff in the suitcase as possible. Well, see if I pass the weight test. I'm bringing home all these sheets of glass to do mosaics. Angela didn't want it anymore. Well, see ya back in Chicago. Where it's cold. Becs

Adventures in Florida

Well, so far I've managed to go to Ace Hardware, Home Depot, and Lowe's (with my dad) since I've been down here! No, it's been really great though spending time with my dad. Who really gets to do that anymore? For lunch though we went to Mixon Fruit Farms. It's one of the greatest places on earth. I have to go there every time I come. I came home with orange juice, orange jelly, orange coconut candies, and of course oranges. I think Ron would disown me if I didn't bring him home any. Check them out www.mixon.com

Then the afternoon was spent with Hunter (my nephew) and yes Lis he keeps calling me Lissa. The whole week prior he called Melissa Beca. Well, Peace out for now! Oh yeah and here's Daisy (my parents dog) She's a nut!

First time out

This is my very first. Feels kinda cool to enter this world of blogging! That's ok, you can laugh at me. I know. Well, I'm in Florida right now visiting my parents. Kinda cold tonight. I left Ron at home. He let me come for my birthday present. Yeah, I turned 27. I know this is crazy, but I'm starting to feel old. Life flies by so fast. I can't keep up.

So, something that is great is that I'm down here and I get to see my nephew who is 2. We made picture frames today. Later tonight, we drove around and looked at the nomen (snowmen) and the pitty lights (pretty lights). He's great!
